ICS-FORTH has also released a limited version of Starlight Platform that includes only the Reader software and is made freely available to visually-impaired people.
Using this version one can have access to electronic books that are also provided for free through the Starlight web site at ICS-FORTH.
In order to receive the free software you have to download and fill in an application in Greek, in which you state that you are blind or have low-vision and that you intend to use Starlight Reader exclusively for personal use, excluding any other type of exploitation.
If the person who is going to use the software is a minor, then the application form (with any required modifications) should be filled in by his/her guardian.

Upon its receipt we will send you a CD-ROM with the software which also includes an installation and a user manual.
