[ICS-1199] Call for expression of interest for one (1) position of Software Engineer as Knowledge Discovery Expert in the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH)

Α. Υλοποίηση αλγορίθμων εύρεσης φυσικής επιλογής από γενετικά δεδομένα με την μέθοδο της μέγιστης πιθανοφάνειας. Β. Βελτιστοποίηση αλγορίθμων για εύρεση φυσικής επιλογής, με στόχο την εκτέλεση τους σε ολόκληρα γονιδιώματα χιλιάδων δειγμάτων. Γ. Τεχνικές εύρεσης πιθανοφάνειας μέσω προσομοιώσεων, ώστε να παρακαμφθεί η δυσκολία εύρεσης μαθηματικού τύπου που να περιγράφει την πιθανοφάνεια των μοντέλων. Δ. Σύγκριση με άλλες μεθόδους Ε. Εκτίμηση αποτελεσμάτων με προσομοιώσεις και πραγματικά δεδομένα.
