We seek one (1) student enrolled to a University MSc Program member for our team. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project EVΟLVE: HPC and Cloud Enhanced Testbed for Extracting Value from Large-scale Diverse Data. The EVOLVE project is a pan European Innovation Action introducing important elements of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Cloud in Big Data platforms taking advantage of recent technological advancements to allow existing and emerging applications to keep up with the unprecedented data growth we are experiencing. The EVOLVE aims to build a large-scale testbed by integrating technology from the HPC, Big Data, and Cloud worlds.

[ICS-1694] Call for expression of interest for a Research Associate in the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) in the context of the H2020 “SESAME" project
We seek for an experienced member for our team with a strong research background in Computer Science. The candidate will participate in the R&D and Management activities of FORTH in the context of the project “SESAME: Secure and Safe Multi‐Robot Systems, funded under H2020‐ICT‐2018‐20”. The candidate will participate in the development of novel robot‐specific methods for threat modelling and vulnerability assessment of Multi Robot Systems (MRS) missions supporting the identification of security hazards and the enactment of potential countermeasures while also considering potential safety implications.

We seek one Postdoctoral Researcher in Computer Science, who will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH-ICS in the context of the H2020 project “4CH – Competence Centre for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage”, funded under Horizon 2020 DT-TRANSFORMATIONS-20-2020. The candidate will work with the design and implementation of a searchable knowledge base for cultural heritage. H2020 4CH aims to set up the methodological, procedural, and organizational framework of a Competence Centre being a major point of European reference for transnational and interdisciplinary networking in the preservation of Cultural Heritage and providing national and regional Cultural Institutions with advice, support and services focused on the preservation and conservation of historical monuments and sites using state-of-the-art ICT technologies.
