The Center for eHealth Applications and Services (CeHA) of the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) in the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) has been awarded the internationally recognized ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System (EMS).
Following an audit conducted by TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas, a member of TÜV AUSTRIA GROUP, CeHA was found to fully comply with the requirements of the standard. This significant achievement reflects CeHA’s continuous efforts to reduce its environmental footprint, optimize resource use, and promote sustainable development in the field of eHealth. Through its EMS, CeHA ensures compliance with environmental legislation while fostering a culture of environmental responsibility across all its activities.
FORTH-ICS is internationally recognized for its excellence in research and innovation in the fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, and digital health. Applications developed by CeHA have been deployed and operate in numerous healthcare units, promoting interconnected, secure, and accessible healthcare delivery both in Greece and abroad.
