[ICS-1386] Μια (1) θέση έκτακτου προσωπικού για Κάτοχο Μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου σπουδών στην Πληροφορική /Επιστήμη Υπολογιστών ή Ηλεκτρονικού/Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών ή Μηχανικών Ηλεκτρονικών Υπολογιστών

Υλοποίηση συσκευή πιλότου (hardware και software) το οποίο θα αποτελείται από μια μικρή (φορητή) υπερφασματική κάμερα η οποία θα τροφοδοτεί ένα συστήματα ελέγχου και απόφασης υλοποιημένο σε μικρού μεγέθους υπολογιστή (τύπου NVIDIA JETSON). Η κάμερα θα καταγράφει υπερφασματικές εικόνες τις οποίες θα προωθεί στο σύστημα ελέγχου το οποίο θα κάνει την ανάλυση και επεξεργασία των εικόνων που λαμβάνονται και θα τις προωθεί σε ένα σύστημα απόφασης που θα κατατάσσει τα δείγματα σε μια συγκεκριμένη ποιοτική κατηγορία σύμφωνα με μια αρχιτεκτονική βαθιάς μηχανικής μάθησης (deep machine learning), χρησιμοποιώντας δεδομένα που έχουν αποθηκευτεί στο σύστημα κατά την διάρκεια της διαδικασίας εκπαίδευσης.

[ICS-1384] One (1) position of FPGA and Integration Engineer (part‐time) with University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

We seek one part‐time FPGA and Integration Engineer for our team, with background in European Research Projects. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project EPI: “European Processor Initiative”. The EPI SGA1 project will be the first phase of the European Processor Initiative Framework Partnership Agreement, whose aim is to design and implement a roadmap for a new family of low‐power European processors for extreme scale computing, highperformance Big‐Data and a range of emerging applications.

We seek one (1) recent graduate member for our team. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project: “EuroExa, Co‐designed Innovation and System for Resilient Exascale Computing in Europe: From Applications to Silicon”. The EuroEXA FETHPC H2020 project targets to provide the template for an upcoming exascale system by co‐designing and implementing a petascale‐level prototype with ground‐breaking characteristics. To accomplish this, the project takes a holistic approach innovating both across the technology and the application/system software pillars.
