The Information Systems Laboratory - Centre of Cultural Informatics (ISL-CCI) undertook, within the framework of the project "Audiovisual applications of the Vikelaia Municipal Library” of the Municipality of Heraklion, the design of the metadata for the repository and the configuration of the repository: "Content Management and Documentation System" which is based on Synthesis. The content of the data repository (i.e. the audiovisual material) is accessible through the web programming API in project applications such as the web portal (https://vikelaia-audiovisual.gr) and the chronology (https://vikelaia-audiovisual.gr/chronologio).
