Dr. Xenophon Zabulis is a Researcher at the Institute of Computer Science - Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas. He received the B.A., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Greece, in 1996, 1998 and 2001, respectively. From 2001 until 2003 he has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Computer and Information Science Department, at the interdisciplinary General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception laboratory and at the Institute for Research in Cognitive Science, both at the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. In addition, during 2004 to 2007, he has worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics, Centre of Research and Technology Hellas, Greece. His research interests are in the areas of stereo and multiple-view computer vision, 3D reconstruction, human motion estimation, medical image processing, human vision, and applications of computer vision for human-computer interaction and smart environments.
