Description. Modern astrophysical research requires analysis of massive datasets due to the unprecedented volume of data generated by advanced telescopes and observational instruments, which capture detailed information on celestial objects and events. Analyzing these large datasets enables scientists to uncover the underlying patterns and structures in the universe, leading to breakthrough discoveries and a deeper understanding of fundamental astrophysical processes. The HORIZON project “TITAN – Frugal Artificial Intelligence and Application in Astrophysics”, funded under the HORIZON-WIDERA-2022-TALENTS-01 program aims to develop novel computational paradigms for astrophysical data analysis through the use of deep learning methods in high performance computing environments. Within this project, we are seeking one (1) highly motivated Technical Project Manager to support the coordination and management of the TITAN project, contributing to its long-term sustainability and impact. The successful candidate will support the coordination and management of the TITAN project across two areas: technical project management of its EU-funded research activities, and support for the project's long-term sustainability and resource mobilization.

Στο πλαίσιο της υλοποίησης της Πράξης «Devising a personalized risk stratification and holistic management for prevention of cognitive impairment in patients with different cardiovascular phenotypes" και ακρωνύμιο «DORIAN GRAY», με κωδικό GA 101156266» το Ινστιτούτο Πληροφορικής του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας (ΙΠ-ΙΤΕ), προτίθεται να απασχολήσει έκτακτο προσωπικό για την πλήρωση μίας θέσης έκτακτου προσωπικού «Διαχείριση έργων έρευνας και ανάπτυξης» μέσω σύναψης σύμβασης μίσθωσης έργου. Αντικείμενο : Παρακολούθηση των οικονομικών των έργων Ε&Α που θα του/της ανατεθούν και της υλοποίησης των έργων (συντονισμός έργων) σε συνεργασία με τους ΕΥ αυτών. • Παρακολούθηση του συνόλου των θεμάτων που σχετίζονται με την υλοποίηση έργων Ε&Α, όπως: − Νομικά, οικονομικά, εισπρακτικά θέματα, κτλ. − Διαγωνισμοί, Προκηρύξεις και συμβάσεις υπηρεσιών και προσωπικού − Διεκπεραίωση εσωτερικών διαδικασιών ΙΤΕ − Οργάνωση επιστημονικών συναντήσεων των έργων σε συνεργασία με τους ΕΥ αυτών και οργάνωση/συμμετοχή ενεργειών δημοσιότητας, παραγωγή ενημερωτικού υλικού (π.χ. φυλλάδια, μπροσούρες, βίντεο, κλπ) , οργάνωση συνεδρίων και workshops, προετοιμασία παρουσιάσεων, κλπ.) − Σύνταξη πρακτικών συναντήσεων και παρουσιάσεων • Ενημέρωση του ιστοχώρου έργων και του εργαστηρίου σε συνεργασία με άλλα μέλη του Εργαστηρίου

We seek one (1) HPC R&D Engineer for our team. The candidates should have proven experience with HPC architectures with strong background in MPI and performance analysis. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the EuroHPC-funded project DARE-SGA1. The DARE project will invigorate the continent’s High Performance Computing ecosystem by bringing together the technology producers and consumers, developing a RISC-V ecosystem that supports the current and future computing needs, while at the same time enabling European Digital Autonomy. DARE takes a customer-first approach (HPC Centres & Industry) to guide the full stack research and development.

Description The candidate will participate in the R&D work of FORTH within the FAITH and ENKORE projects.
