Dr. Mariam-Eleni Oraiopoulou is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational BioMedicine Laboratory (CBML) of the Institute of Computer Science (ICS-FORTH). She received her PhD in the field of Computational Neurosciences – NeuroOncology at the School of Medicine, University of Crete, Greece in 2018. She received her Bachelor in Biological Applications and Technology in 2011 from the University of Ioannina, Greece with a Diploma Thesis on Metabolomics and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in Human Subjects. She also holds a MSc in Brain and Mind Sciences since 2014 from the School of Medicine, University of Crete with a Master Thesis on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in Human Brain Cancer and a MSc in Biological Applications and Technology since 2011 from the University of Ioannina, Greece. She has 5 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, 4 peer-reviewed conference papers, 4 oral presentations and 19 abstracts/ posters, in workshops, summer schools and (inter)national conferences. She has been awarded once with the first prize in a conference and a national scholarship from HFRI (h-index 4).
