The mission of the Department of Systems and Networks (DSN) of ICS is to provide support in information technology planning, to implement efficient technology infrastructures, to develop and deploy effective information systems and to deliver responsive IT support services.

The Department develops administrative applications, offers networking and telecommunication services, technical services and support, as well as end user support. The operational environment offers data, voice and video services to more than 1,500 users. The DSN also supports various research projects within the ICS, offering implementation and operational support.
